John Wiesehan III
Chief Executive Officer
As Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and leader of the Intersect Technologies team, John navigates the business landscape using his wealth of experience in multiple verticals, including consumer packaged goods and wellness.
John has a proven track record of driving growth and profitability through strategic planning, innovation, and execution, building brands, and being a top-producing sales leader earlier in his career under brands such as Hoffco Brands/Nicotek LLC.
John’s commitment to “next level hustle” has earned him a reputation as a leader who inspires and empowers his team to achieve their full potential. John holds a Bachelor of Science in marketing and management from Appalachian State University.
Chief Information Officer
As the Chief Information Officer (CIO) of Intersect Technologies, Rob Spurlock brings over 30 years of experience in technology leadership to his role.
Rob is responsible for driving the company’s technology strategy, overseeing the implementation of innovative tech solutions to drive user experience and profit, and ensuring the security and efficiency of the company’s systems.
Rob is known for his cybersecurity, networking, and site building expertise and has a proven track record of leveraging technology to drive business growth. Before joining Intersect, Rob served in various senior technology roles, leading large-scale technology transformations and driving significant cost savings.
Rob holds a Bachelor’s degree in international business from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and is an avid supporter of new technology in the workplace.
Chief Marketing Officer
Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Tom Petersen brings twenty years of experience in strategy and innovation from his eCommerce and retail career to the table, building revenue and expanding reach through strategic marketing and outreach initiatives, including time spent with GameStop, BoxyCharm, and Wayfair.
Tom is responsible for honing Intersect Technologies’ marketing message by understanding consumer behavior and market trends, both being talents from previous positions proven with a track record of revenue growth under his strategic leadership.
Tom holds a Bachelor of Arts in education and sociology from Bridgewater State University and spends his free time outside with his wife and kids.
Chief Operating Officer
As a commercial leader in multiple verticals, Shawn Heitz brings over 20 years’ experience as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer (CFO-COO), helping to lead the Intersect Technologies team to greater success.
Shawn leads growth strategy across the Intersect portfolio through his skills in analytics, M&A integrations, business intelligence, and process design carried over from time with Driven Brands, Sapphire Strategy, Snyder’s-Lance, and McKinsey & Company.
While Shawn spends a significant degree of his time in finance and accounting at Intersect, tracking the company’s growth under his optimizations, Shawn also supports the company’s growing sales and marketing functions, assisting the sales and marketing teams with widening the company’s aftermarket net.
Shawn graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in finance and marketing from the University of Virginia and proudly utilizes his MBA in marketing, entrepreneurship, and finance from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
VP of Client Delivery
Lara comes to Intersect as VP of client delivery with an invaluable decade plus of experience in consulting, specializing in ecommerce solutions and enterprise system implementations for Fortune 100 companies.
Lara proudly holds a Bachelor’s of Science in mathematics from Davidson College and enjoys traveling the world in her free time.
As Controller with over 20 years of experience within the start-up and entrepreneurial world, Lanai Norris is a seasoned contributor to the team who has the experience to simply make things happen. Lanai oversees the financial health of multiple holding companies that are owned and operated by Intersect Technologies’ holding company. She also holds advisory positions on several diversified portfolio companies.
Lanai lives in Charlotte with her husband, Chuck Norris, and their three children, Chucky, Lilly, and Khloe.
Director of Engineering
As a Lead Developer and EDI Specialist with over 10 years of experience, Ryan Ridings is a seasoned technology professional with a proven track record of delivering innovative solutions to complex business problems inside the other side of his role, developing and designing responsive websites that drive both traffic and revenue.
Ryan leads a team of developers in designing, developing, and implementing EDI solutions that streamline communication and improve business efficiency. Ryan’s expertise in EDI standards and protocols has enabled him to successfully implement EDI solutions across various industries, including healthcare, retail, and logistics, an advantage at Intersect Technologies, which services a wide range of end users.
Ryan carries a Bachelor’s of Science degree in digital media from East Tennessee State University and keeps up several industry certifications; you can find him spending time with his family when not coding and designing.
Customer Success Manager
Customer Success Manager (CSM) Jennifer Johnson brings proven experience in sales operations in the commercial real estate technology industry. Her accomplishments include establishing operational efficiencies, leading a team of global analysts, enhancing the customer experience, and identifying business insights through data and analytics.
At Intersect Technologies, Jennifer supports the Client Delivery and Sales teams by providing white glove service to both active and future clients.
Jennifer holds a degree in journalism and mass communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and enjoys spending time with her partner, their blended family and the best dog, Buster.
Marketing Project Manager
Olivia Hooker serves as Intersect’s project and omnichannel marketing manager, underscoring the marketing team’s efforts with her experience as an account manager in various industries, including time spent with Professional Association Services and Associations Plus, Inc. in the association management space.
Olivia received her Bachelor’s of Science from the University of South Carolina in tourism management and business administration. Olivia enjoys spending time with her family and pets when not at work.
Vice President of Sales
JB joins the Intersect Technologies team as vice president of sales with over 15 years of sales and leadership experience based on developing growth strategies for rapidly growing organizations and hiring winning B2B teams.
JB wrestled at the University of Mount Union and attained a Bachelor’s in business management. His core belief is that the right mindset and consistent effort will build your “hustle muscles” on the path to success.
